Things are coming along well recently in terms of the business. We have picked out a place to have the business, and I am currently working on the business plan. I will probably post a link to the business plan when I have it completed, and if there is anyone who wants to review it please feel free to do so. The more eyes on it, the better it is. But then again, I could only have 2 readers who stumble their way to this random spot on the interwebs, so maybe it will just collect electronic dust for all of eternity.
One thing that I am coming to grips with, is that I do love the interaction with people, I like pitching our ideas to various people, and I like to talk. I think I will work very good as a front man in the business. I like the no hassle approach, with a honest business and hard work ethic to succeed in this world. It's funny, there is so much money that can be made honestly, yet people get greedy and milk an industry dry. I think by doing things the right way, by being honest, up front, but presenting yourself as a brand you can make a lot of money in this world.
Well, right now, I am going to put my money where my mouth is. I think I will be able to present the business in such a way that the consumer will leave us satisfied instead of discouraged. It is something that people are not accustomed to in terms of dealing with a garage, and it is how I want to brand it. Not your ordinary garage. A garage where you actually matter to the people that are working on your car. A garage that gives you the power and the knowledge to be a better consumer overall. Simply put, a garage you can trust. Only time will tell what becomes of the business, but I do have plans for franchising out if things go as well as I intend them to go. So from lobsterman, to cell phone maker to space telescope designer, to entrepreneur, that is my life. This blog is about my life actually, a glimpse into the mind of a madman (insert Vincent Price laugh here).
Cheers,
Michael
