Free, Clear, for a Weekend C'est le vie

Well, I am free in terms of health issues, and I have a fairly clean bill of health. My appointment with the doctors went very well, and everything is looking good. My bloodwork is all going in the right direction, and I need to keep up what I have been doing in terms of diet and exercise which is good anyway. That is a big sigh of relief, but less than 72 hours after I got my clean bill of health, I received another hit. . .I was laid off from my job.

Yep, for the second time in a year and a half I was laid off of a job, but I do have a different outlook this time. Because of the scare I went through with my health, I now have a different outlook in life, and I am going to be trying different endeavors while looking for a work. As I have alluded to previously in my blog, I am going to start up my own photography business. I have already bought the domain name, and I will post it when I get the website set up. i may also have an oppertunity to teach a math class for college this semester, so I am trying to get a bunch of different things going at once which is a good thing.

Who knows what the future brings, I do know that it is in my hands, and I have control of my own destiny. I have the opportunity to try out these new endeavors which I may not have had before, and that is a good thing. Hopefully, I will have a few different revenue streams coming in, that is my plan at least. I am taking this time to start up things that I enjoy doing, and it is a good thing in life. Taking control of your own destiny is never a bad thing no matter where you are in life :)
